CareerSource Polk remains open and fully operational as we move forward through a period of organizational transition.
Under the guidance of Interim Executive Director Nilda Blanco, our team continues to provide uninterrupted services and support to job seekers, employers, and the Polk County community. CareerSource Polk is working collaboratively with Polk County and state workforce officials as we address areas of concern and determine the appropriate path forward for the organization.
While there are changes taking place at the leadership level, our mission remains unchanged. We remain focused on connecting people to meaningful employment opportunities, helping businesses find and develop talent, and strengthening Polk County’s workforce.
We are grateful for the leadership and service of former President and CEO Stacy Campbell-Domineck and the former members of the CareerSource Polk Board of Directors. Their commitment to CareerSource Polk and to strengthening opportunities for the people and businesses of Polk County has been an important part of our organization’s 30-year history.
