About this Workshop: Recruitment + ERGs = A More Inclusive and Diverse Workforce
In today’s workplace, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are becoming a standard component of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. With 61 percent of companies placing a greater focus on diversity than ever before, and with the lack of diversity candidates in the talent pipeline, ERGs can prove valuable tools to assist a company with enhancing its strategic diversity initiatives and attracting and retaining diverse employees. This session will teach you how to integrate ERGs into your recruitment processes by creating new and improved strategies that will benefit your DEI recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts.
Dr. Lynn Johnson is the founder of Triumphant HR Solutions, LLC. She provides human resource management and educational consulting services to small to medium for-profit organizations. Through her 20 plus years of management and human resource experience in both corporate and academic arenas, she works closely with clients to determine the best means of achieving the highest levels of performance for their organization, and developing competent, committed employees, with the goal of creating “best places to work.” She support’s her client’s vision with solutions that create results. Her expertise includes diversity, equity, and inclusion, leadership, instructional design and training, strategic planning, workplace compliance, as well as general Human Resource functions and business coaching. Dr. Johnson holds a Ph.D. in Organization and Management, a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, and she is an SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) with a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certification. She also was recently elected the Diversity & Inclusion Director with GOSHRM for 2023.
