CareerSource Polk Invites Community to 2024 Spring Job Fair

Event will host more than 30 employers from multiple industries.

 

POLK COUNTY, Fla. (March 8, 2024) – CareerSource Polk is pleased to announce its 2024 Spring Job Fair which will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Veterans receive early entry at 9:00 am. The event will be held at Nora Mayo Hall at 500 3rd St. NW, Winter Haven, FL 33881.

“We understand the challenges many employers are facing when it comes to filling their available positions,” said Kathy Suttles, CareerSource Polk Director of Business Services. “This event was created to help companies connect with a diverse pool of job seekers who are eager to work.”

According to a recent report by the U.S. Census Bureau, Polk County ranked among the Top 5 counties in the nation when it comes to population growth.

“Our teams are excited to assist all job seekers, those who have lived here for years as well as those who have recently relocated to the area,” said Cristina Mazarredo, CareerSource Polk Director of Outreach & Communications. “Attendees will gain access to employers from multiple industries who are offering full and part-time positions and multiple shift options.”

More than 30 employers are participating in this event. Industries represented include IT, healthcare, education, manufacturing, leisure and hospitality, transportation, logistics, automotive, and more.

Employers interested in participating in the job fair are urged to reserve their space as soon as possible, as spaces are filling up quickly.
